AWAKEN Center for Human Evolution began in 2012 out of Greg Campisi’s desire and calling to create a community space for like minders seekers. He envisioned it as a place for people to connect and cultivate awareness, peace, and inner truth. In November of 2014, it officially became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Our History
AWAKEN began with a vision. At age 30, Greg Campisi embarked on a spiritual journey that led him through deep self-reflection and awakening. In 2012, through inner clarity and divine inspiration, Greg received a vision of a spiritual community center. A logo flashed in his mind. Sensing there was more, he asked, “What’s this?”—and in a moment of insight, the words AWAKEN Center for Human Evolution followed. With that, a new purpose awakened within him: to create a supportive space for those on the path of transformation—whether just beginning or deeply seasoned.
On December 22, 2012, the day after the end of the Mayan Calendar, AWAKEN hosted its first event, Awaken the World. Two years later, on November 5, 2014, AWAKEN officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
What began as a vision for community quickly evolved into a mission to uplift humanity through healing, connection, and spiritual growth. Greg opened the door to his condo, and his heart, and began hosting spiritual discussions, meditations, and conscious movie nights. It was followed by day long gatherings attracting 40-50 people, which led to the opening of the first AWAKEN center.
Today, AWAKEN continues to serve as a beacon of light, offering events, resources, and a global platform for those seeking deeper meaning, higher purpose, and conscious evolution.
